Showcase in DIT, May 2017

Students of Food Innovation and Product Design (FIPDes) presented their final products!

FIPDes students participated in the showcase 2017 in Dublin and presented their newly developed food products!
Every FIPDes students from Cohort 6 demonstrated their products with well-displayed showcase table, poster and sample product on the 3rd of May 2017 at the Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland. This event illustrate students’ culinary skills and food business expertise displayed in every product that was designed from scratch including the creative packaging. They presented a range of innovative products from dark chocolate with eggshells to spirulina smash.

The final prize went to Colin Mills, who developed an innovative dipping sauce made from three superfoods: spirulina, yogurt and garlic. The novel aspect and potentials in business allowed him to win the prize of the "Product Most Likely to Succeed".
